       Genetic Health Guarantee Information

​

    Every precaution has been taken to see that your new puppy is healthy. Your  puppy will come with an AKC pet registration application, a vet-signed health certificate (when being shipped), vaccination and worming schedule, and sixty days of free health care offered by the AKC.

We  guarantees this puppy to be free of all  communicable diseases for a period of 10 days from the date of adoption stated on the Pet Record.  We, Miller Clan Pugs, guarantee the puppy against life-threatening genetic health defects until the puppy reaches 1-year of age.  If the puppy has a life-threatening genetic health defect, we will refund the price of the puppy and only the amount you paid for the puppy (no shipping cost) if 2 associated, licensed veterinarians certify, in writing, the diagnosis of the life-threatening medical problem.  The puppy will also be returned to Miller Clan Pugs at buyers expense.

     All expenses incurred after the puppy leaves the Seller, medical or otherwise, are the responsibility of the Buyer.  We do not guarantee size, ability, and/or breeding capabilities on any of our puppies.By reading and signing this document, both Seller and Buyer enter into this agreement.  To keep this Guarantee in force: The Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup or delivery and send a Vet signed copy of this form or the original form to the seller within ten days the adoption, provide the puppy with routine preventive care, such as vaccinations, worming’s and annual health checks. This guarantee does not cover health problems or death caused by neglect, mistreatment or an accident while in buyer’s possession.  This guarantee does not cover BRACHYCEPHALIC conditions. Pugs are breed to have very short noses there fore nose throat and eye problems are common in a pug. We also do not guarantee against parasites.  The buyer must recognize that intestinal parasites are not uncommon in puppies and very often appear during a puppies early development.

    We go through every length to prevent intestinal parasites in our puppies.  However, the stress of going to a new home, travel and diet can result in the appearance of intestinal parasites after the puppy leaves, this can cause your puppy to be susceptible to common ailments such as diarrhea and coccidiosis (coccidia).  We do not offer a guarantee against hypoglycemia, cherry eye, coccidiosis, giardia or any non-life-threatening conditions.  We feel strongly that you as a new puppy owner will be educated and prepared concerning your new puppy.  So that is why it is very important to have your “New Puppy” check-up within 72 hours.  Also, this guarantee shall become null and void if the puppy is given any vaccinations within 10 days of the last vaccination stated on the pet record.  Our puppies are fed Doc’s Choice Puppy Food, which is a good quality, high protein puppy food.  We recommend visiting with your vet to see what they would recommend for a good quality puppy food for your new puppy.

Establishing a quality relationship with your veterinarian is key to ensuring the health of your puppy.  Your vet is your partner in  making sure your puppy is healthy, happy, and will bring many  years of companionship
